Daniel Richardson was born in Greensboro
and has lived in the Piedmont Triad area for much of his
life. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from
UNC-Chapel Hill in 1990 and a Master of Arts degree from
UNC-Greensboro in 1995, Daniel spent nearly 10 years as a
key member of the sales & marketing team of a
privately owned, mid-sized company located in Greensboro.
From 1998 - 2003, Daniel was a member of the Greensboro
Jaycees and gave over 3,000 volunteer hours to help
better his community. He served for 3.5 years on the
Jaycee Board of Directors, including 2 terms as
Vice-President, and managed an area with a $200K annual
budget.
Daniel left the corporate world in 2004 and founded
Piedmont Triad Concierge in November of that year after
realizing that forging strong relationships with people
and being in service to others were the true passions of
his life.
When asked what he enjoys most about the business, Daniel
replied, “I love waking up in the morning and being
excited about whom I GET TO help that day. It is far more
satisfying than waking up in the morning and feeling that
I HAVE TO go to work.”
In his spare time, Daniel likes to cycle, work out at the
gym, read, and support various charitable organizations.
He is single, owns a dog and a cat, and is the primary
caregiver for his mom.
